1. Introduction
MJ Ministries Community Outreach Ministry is a faith-based voluntary association dedicated to sharing hope, knowledge, and encouragement through Christian storytelling, education, and inclusive digital outreach.
The ministry exists to serve individuals from all backgrounds, including persons living with disabilities, through accessible faith-centered content, literary works, and online engagement platforms.
This constitution establishes the guiding principles, governance structure, and operational values of the ministry.
2. Legal Status
MJ Ministries operates as a voluntary association within South Africa and functions on a non-profit basis.
The ministry is currently not registered as a Non-Profit Company (NPC) or Non-Profit Organization (NPO). Formal registration may be pursued as the ministry develops and expands its activities.
3. Mission Statement
The mission of the ministry is:
To communicate faith, hope, and biblical truth through storytelling and creative media.
To produce faith-based novels and educational content grounded in historical and archaeological understanding.
To reach both able-bodied and disabled communities through accessible digital platforms.
To encourage spiritual growth, dignity, and inclusion for all people regardless of physical ability.
4. Vision
To build an inclusive faith-centered outreach that bridges scholarship, storytelling, and ministry, making spiritual encouragement accessible to:
Sighted and low-vision individuals
Blind and deaf-blind persons
Persons living with disabilities
The broader global community through digital media.
5. Core Activities
The ministry fulfills its purpose through:
Writing and publishing faith-based novels and educational works.
Producing video and teaching content through online platforms such as YouTube.
Promoting accessible communication formats where possible.
Community encouragement and outreach initiatives.
Developing future accessibility projects supporting persons with disabilities.
6. Founder and Leadership
The ministry was founded by Michael John Walmsley, who serves as Founder and Ministry Director.
Qualifications and background include:
Ordained Minister (Team Impact Christianity University).
Bachelor’s Degree in Theology (Team Impact Christianity University).
Master’s Degree in Near Eastern Archaeology, University of South Africa.
Qualified in Information Technology at NQF Levels 5 and 6 under the South African National Qualifications Framework, including certification as a Chief Network Technologist through CTU Training Solutions via the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.
Faith-based author and educator.
Advocate for disability inclusion and accessibility.
The Founder provides spiritual and operational oversight until such time as a governing committee may be established.
7. Inclusivity and Accessibility Commitment
The ministry is committed to serving individuals across physical abilities and backgrounds. Special emphasis is placed on accessibility for persons living with visual impairments and related disabilities.

8. Non-Profit Nature
The ministry operates exclusively for community, educational, and spiritual benefit.
No profits are distributed to individuals.
Any donations or support received are applied toward ministry objectives and outreach activities.
9. Financial Accountability
The ministry commits to:
Maintaining basic financial records.
Using funds responsibly for ministry purposes.
Practicing transparency with supporters and partners.
10. Partnerships
The ministry may collaborate with churches, organizations, educational institutions, and community groups consistent with its mission while remaining non-denominational in fellowship.
11. Statement of Faith (General)
The ministry affirms core Christian principles centered on:
Faith in God
Biblical teaching
Compassionate service
Respect for all people
The ministry operates independently of denominational affiliation while welcoming fellowship across Christian traditions.
12. Amendment of Constitution
This constitution may be amended by the Founder or future governing leadership when necessary to support ministry growth and responsible governance.
13. Dissolution Clause
Should the ministry cease operations, any remaining assets or resources shall be transferred to a nonprofit organization serving charitable or disability-support purposes.
14. Adoption
This constitution was adopted to guide the ethical and spiritual operation of the ministry.
